Non-Condensing Boiler Replacement
Non-condensing boilers work on a simple principle. The fuel, such as gas, oil, or biomass, is burned within the combustion chamber. The heat generated during this process is transferred to the water, which circulates through the boiler’s primary heat exchanger. The heated water is then distributed to the radiators or underfloor heating system, providing warmth to the space.

How do I know if I qualify for a ECO4 non-condensing boiler placement grant
The UK government funding for non-condensing boiler placement is sourced through energy efficiency schemes with the objectives of reducing carbon emissions and assisting households facing challenges in covering heating expenses.
The ECO4 grant scheme is now more closely tied to household income, ensuring that low-income households who are not claiming eligible benefits can still have access to free insulation grants. To qualify, households must have an income of £31,000 or less.
Homes falling within Energy Performance Certificate Bands A, B, and C are no longer eligible for the scheme, as they are considered sufficiently energy efficient.
